inside::out is a unique opportunity to have a role in transforming one of the most significant public spaces in America... the urban campus of the Boston Center for the Arts.

The BCA is a precious resource for showcasing performing and visual arts. Within its four acres are four theaters, over 50 artists' studios, a gallery, a jazz club, a music school, a ballet company, a 125-year-old large domed historic exhibition space, as well as restaurants, shops and residences. The challenge: to explore ideas in architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, graphic design, and lighting, to better express the activity and energy inside the BCA's walls—to the outside.

The Adobe Design Achievement Awards celebrate student achievement reflecting the powerful convergence of technology and the creative arts. The competition — which showcases individual and group projects created with industry-leading Adobe creative software — honors the most talented and promising student graphic designers, photographers, illustrators, animators, digital filmmakers, and computer artists from the world's top institutions of higher education.

There are nine categories in the 2006 Adobe Design Achievement Awards competition, open to students at post-secondary institutions in 24 countries throughout the world. First-place winning entries will receive US$5,000, a trip to attend the July 20, 2006, awards ceremony in Toronto, Canada, valuable Adobe software products, and studio tours.
